Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby brings the beloved literary classic to life with his distinctive cinematic style that represented the excess and opulence of the Roaring 20’s. I was inspired by this to create a movie poster that started with offscreen approach. I used various materials and objects to construct and photograph a scene that paid homage to the key elements and motifs that symbolized the grandeur on the era.
